One Act Plays - 1949

4/7/1949

Season: tba

This is one of the programmes for which we don't know the year for sure yet, but we believe it is 1949.

The dates given on the poster are 4 - 5 July, which would make this 1949, 1950 or 1951 (must be prior to 1952 due to ending with God Save the King; God Save the Queen would be used after 6 February 1952).

The programme also refers to Elmwood Players being started "a year ago".  We formed in 1948, so assuming we can take that "year ago" literally, this programme would be in July 1949.

The season was to benefit the Merivale Boy Scouts.
