Elmwood Players Covid Policy

As a venue following the Covid Protection Framework we will act in accordance with government regulations of the moment.   This means at some times we may require to site vaccination certificates, wherever possible this will be clearly communicated prior to any performance

At all times our priority is the health and safety of our patrons, the cast and the crew both at front of house and back stage.

Patrons
We may be required to only admit vaccinated patrons to our shows at certain times, this means you may need to show your vaccination pass before entry to a show.    We will provide as much forward notice as possible of this and display signage accordingly.
When entering the venue, and while in the foyer you may be required to wear a mask.
During a show at red traffic light settings you will be required to wear your mask while seated, except while eating or drinking.
Our ushers will ensure you are seated in to your groups with the correct social distancing applied when applicable.
Auditions
We may be only able to accept auditions if you have a valid vaccination pass. This will be noted prior to an audition being booked wherever possible.
When arriving for an audition you may need to wear your mask while you wait. During your audition you will be able to remove your mask.
Cast
You may be required to confirm your vaccination status with a member of the committee or production team if you have not done so during an Audition already.
You may need to wear a mask when arriving for rehearsals or shows and at all times when in the public areas of the venue.  You will of course not be required to wear a mask when performing.
Crew
We may require all crew to be vaccinated and to wear a mask while anywhere in the venue including back stage, except on occasions where the wearing of a mask may pose a health and safety issue; if this is the case it will be clearly discussed with the production staff.
